Hello, all! I apologize for my absence. Last week was very hectic with final exams and submitting students’ grades but I’m finally able to get back to writing just in time for the final week. Eek!
I finally have names for the characters and have made the appropriate updates to chapter one so the place holders are gone. I have also written a second chapter and uploaded it. Chapter two serves as a segue which touches on the preparations for the false Queen’s final life, it sets the record straight on what really happened when the Queen was first killed and it hints at why kings aren’t cloned.
I must say I am really excited to write this story as it is the first time that I have ever written anything for public eyes. In fact, this is the first time that I have allowed anyone to read my ideas in such an unpolished state. It’s a shame that this contest is coming to a close. I would like to have more backers and have a better chance at winning but, to be honest, I’m thrilled that all of you have taken such an interest in my idea. It really means so much to me that people have been so positive. Allow me to take this opportunity to say to you all who are following me and/or have pre-ordered The Sovereign Queen: thank you all so much for your support! An extra special thanks to those of you who have left reviews. Your words fired me up and convinced me that I can do this!
Well, the contest isn’t over yet so that means that I’m not finished either! I will upload character bios today and a third chapter is in the works. This chapter will introduce our protagonists, which I am very eager to tell you about. Be on the look out for that.
Humbly yours,
Dan Flores
