Discussion

Dearest readers,

First off, I’d like to apologize for my silence as of late. Life has had it’s strange way with me as it so often seems to do. As a result, the time I was able to contribute to the crowd-funding aspects of my book was exceedingly limited. I do hate making excuses though, so I hope you will all forgive me for my negligence.

So as it happens there is a mere ten days left in my campaign. That being said, unless you wonderful folks get around 500 more people to pre-order, then winning the contest will be quite impossible.

The past month or so I’ve had a newfound focus on pushing forward and finishing the book I’ve had rolling around in my head for years. In taking a step back from the crazy rush of trying to get it published, I’ve been able to really focus on making something of good quality.

While I can’t express how absolutely grateful I am for the support I received, it would be in vain if I wasn’t able to deliver something I could be proud of to you. That being said, losing this contest is only the beginning of this whole process. I appreciate Inkshares for giving me the drive to write again.

Fear not friends! Your money will be refunded. If you are truly interested in following "The Axiom", I encourage you to send me a message on here, or shoot me an email. You could also "slide into my DM’s" on Twitter as the kids say.

I’ll try and keep the page updated with any info about the book and what not. Any changes I’ll be sure to note.

Thank you again, you beautiful people.

Regards,

Jesse Swinson

Hello one and all! I apologize for the silence as of late. Life has kept me quite busy and often times I don’t make this contest the priority that I should. On that note, I’ve been doing some reflecting and will be focusing more on writing the book than crowd funding.

I’m immensely grateful for all the support I’ve gotten and the wonderful people I’ve had the chance to interact with. This isn’t to say that I’m giving up completely, but I’m making it my main focus to actually finishing the book instead of the funding part. After all, isn’t that the important part?

That being said, I’ll still hold true to my offer of the free t-shirts if I reach 30 pre-orders by the end of September. I’ll also be happy for any word of mouth assistance or recommendations I receive in that time period.

I can’t emphasize again how thankful I am for each and every one of you. Thank you.

Hello my wonderful readers. Sorry for the delay. I have been a very busy bee the past week or so.

First off, thank you to those of you who pre-ordered "The Axiom". I never would have thought I would have gotten to this point, and I wouldn’t have without you. So thanks for being awesome! If you haven’t pre-ordered...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?

Now that I’ve had my fun with the GIFs... I have a special announcement. The second chapter will be up by the end of the week. Also, I have the designs finished for the t-shirts! So if I make it to 30 pre-orders by the end of September then all of the wonderful people who pre-ordered my book get a t-shirt. And it will look something like this:

That’s only nine more people guys...You can do that!

Again, I can’t thank you all enough for the support you’ve shown me throughout this entire thing. It means the world to me.

Hope you all have a great week!

-Jesse

My wonderful readers! I have good news and I have bad news. I’ll start with the bad! Because that is just how I do things. I may have accidentally downloaded a file over the prologue, undid it, did it again and then undid it a second time. As a result, I lost some comments and several pieces of constructive criticism. Please feel free to tear into it again. Or you can always message me, tweet at me, send me a carrier pigeon...whatever is easiest. Don’t fret too badly though, I am a glutton for punishment and have locked most of your suggestions in the box I call my mind-brain.

I also am uploading this a bit later than anticipated. Life has been a particularly harsh mistress to me this week, and I was in a frenzy. As a result, my Wednesday deadline fell by the wayside. My sincerest apologies.

TO THE GOOD NEWS! Chapter 1 is now officially UP! And there was much rejoicing. You’ll notice it is very different in a lot of ways, but I promise that it does build the overarching story. I hope you like it.

Also I am looking for beta-readers! If you’re interested in reading about a chapter a week, then this might be the gig for you. The book is still in it’s toddler stages, and like any good book will probably go through some rewrites. So if you wanna be one of the lucky folks who dictate what I may rewrite, shoot me a message. I’m usually quite friendly between the hours of 8 to 1 am. Eastern time.

Now I must slumber. The bell tolls in about five hours for me to wake up and go to my regular job. Many exciting things in the pipeline, so stay tuned!

Ah, the weekend is over. The weekend-end as it were. I’m sure that has most of you feeling glum.

But worry not! I’ll have a new chapter uploaded by Wednesday this week. Something new to sink your teeth into. Again, I can’t thank those of you who pre-ordered enough. The amount of support I’ve had so far has been overwhelming. Even if you haven’t pre-ordered, I’m just happy that you’re following along. All I can ask is that you keep just being awesome and share away to people who might be interested.

Have a great week everyone.

Hello all! Just wanted to touch base and once again say thank you. Things have been progressing better than I have hoped with both the writing and the pre-orders. I’m hoping to have some artwork coming in the next few weeks and possibly a video. If you know anyone who might be interested in the book, tell em about it! I appreciate any efforts. Once again, thank you!

Hello all! I apologize for the lack of...well...book. But I promise I will have at least the prologue up tonight. Thank you for taking the time to check my project out.
