A teenage boy sets out with his uncle and cousin to find his birth father. The quest takes them on a road trip during the summer of 1941, tracing the northern route of the Cherokee Trail of Tears in reverse from Oklahoma to North Carolina.
Born in Oklahoma, Caren lives in Vermont with her hubby, rescue pup, and barn cat turned happy house kitty. Caren is also a mom to two incredible humans and is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation. Henderson House is her first novel.
