I've got to agree with Ben on this one. The different different directions that this story could take are boggling, but with an opener like that, it's certain to become quite an exciting adventure.

Absolutely top-grade writing, especially when it comes to surreal, alien imagery. Even just the first chapter serves up questions I want the answers to NOW.
