I think you have a great story to tell and no matter what happens, don’t give up on your dream. I wish you the best with whatever you plan on doing, and hopefully one day you will be able to publish your novel.
I unfortunately did not make it to my goal, despite all the amazing support from you, my readers! So, even though there is no tangible proof of your support for you to hold in your hands, you do have my undying, unrelenting gratitude. Sincerely, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so, so much for supporting me, whether you were there from the beginning or nearer the end. The fact you pre-ordered my book, and brought my that much closer to my goal is just so amazingly heartwarming.
I was a lot less upset about not reaching my goal than I thought I would be. This is likely for a couple reasons:
1) I have been so ridiculously busy with teaching that I almost didn’t notice the date was approaching and then passed. (A good busy, though!)
2) THIS IS NOT IT. This is not the end. Just because I did not succeed on Inkshares does not mean I will stop trying and that I will not succeed elsewhere. I will not give up.
So, I will likely post more projects here, and see what sort of interest I can strike up, but I will also keep you all posted on further publishing efforts.
(However, because I am in the last few weeks of my final degree, things are coming to an end rather quickly and much of my time is focused on school work!)

Still, that is very doable. I’ve been very down lately, telling myself that I’m not going to make it to my pre-order goal, and that I’ll have to try harder next time, but the buck stops here! No more negative Nelly!
If you’ve already ordered by book, thank you again and again. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, you have no idea how amazing it feels to be supported by such awesome people--both familiar to me and strangers alike!--and I just want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Even if (don’t say it, Danica!) I don’t reach my goal, knowing that you stuck with me from the beginning to the end means the world to me. Knowing that there are people out there who are interested in delving into a world I’ve created is....well, the highest compliment I could ever possibly receive. Truly.
If you haven’t already ordered my book, please tell me what I can do to change your mind! If it’s simply a case of expecting a pre-order in return for a pre-order, I’ll see what I can do. Unfortunately, I am a University student paying to do an internship, so money is more than a little tight. And I understand other people are in similar financial situations, so I totally get it! That could not have happened without you, my amazing friends, family and fellow Inksharers...(I used it, might not be a word. You get the point.) So from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!!!!!!!

After a much needed vacation, which is when I get most of my writing done anyways, I have finally finished writing "Kingdom Come." Of course, it still needs some editing...and then some more editing, but in total, it’s 36 chapters with an epilogue and prologue. I underestimated how long the final manuscript would be by about 20,000 words. Still, I’m excited to share with you the work I’ve done!
I would like to take this moment to also thank all of you for your continued support. Those of you who have pre-ordered my book, those of you who have followed me, shared my book...you’re all very important to me. So thank you, all of you, for the amazing help you’ve given me on this journey, which has only just begun!
