So, my deadline for funding has come and gone.
I unfortunately did not make it to my goal, despite all the amazing support from you, my readers! So, even though there is no tangible proof of your support for you to hold in your hands, you do have my undying, unrelenting gratitude. Sincerely, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so, so much for supporting me, whether you were there from the beginning or nearer the end. The fact you pre-ordered my book, and brought my that much closer to my goal is just so amazingly heartwarming.
I was a lot less upset about not reaching my goal than I thought I would be. This is likely for a couple reasons:
1) I have been so ridiculously busy with teaching that I almost didn’t notice the date was approaching and then passed. (A good busy, though!)
2) THIS IS NOT IT. This is not the end. Just because I did not succeed on Inkshares does not mean I will stop trying and that I will not succeed elsewhere. I will not give up.
So, I will likely post more projects here, and see what sort of interest I can strike up, but I will also keep you all posted on further publishing efforts.
(However, because I am in the last few weeks of my final degree, things are coming to an end rather quickly and much of my time is focused on school work!)
