Just started reading the posted chapters of JDL Rosell's In the Shadow of the Rook and I'm definitely looking for more. Vivid descriptions, crisp writing... and a reanimated corpse. Definitely worth checking out.

Just got a notification that this project went live for funding. After reading what's available it's easy to tell an undead protag searching for revenge is quite the story. Check out this brilliantly written book

I love the direction of this story. Reanimated corpse, sentient, confused, tries to be less dead, key to larger narrative. Fun stuff!
