Bryan Collins's latest update for Brother’s Grimm

Aug 4, 2016

So this is going to be weird for me. I put this project up on a whim and honestly expected nothing to really happen once I did, but within two days I’ve had 9 people follow it. Now if you divide that in half that’s 4.5 people a day. Is that an impressive number? Not particularly, but given that I have never let anyone other than my wife read my writing that small number means a lot to me. It tells me that there are more people out there that will like what I have written. It tells me that I have nine people that want to see me succeed. (Maybe you don’t, but it’s all up to interpretation right? Like in high school when your teacher told you to interpret the book, but told you your interpretation was wrong because it wasn’t her interpretation. I promise the drapes are blue only because they matched the décor in the room, not to show the characters deep depression.) Erhmm, where was I again? Oh, right! What I’m trying to say as I am bumbling over my words here is I appreciate all of you. Nine is a lot better than none.

Now the really weird part. I’m sure most of you found my book through the Geek and Sundry Fantasy contest that is currently going on, but maybe you didn’t. If you didn’t you should take a look at it! It’s got some really interesting ideas. For those of you that are interested in reading the completed version of Brothers Grimm I’d like to extend you the offer of preordering my book. How is that beneficial for you? Well it is a means of motivation for me to pump out more content regularly rather than prepare myself for the drop of WoW:Legion. Let’s be honest I don’t need that raid gear as much as I think I do. If you would like to preorder the book you can do so on the Inkshares website, and if you’d rather not because the book seems a little too unpolished-which is a completely fair assessment-maybe mention it on social media. If you do that and send me a DM with the link to the message I’ll happily mention your book as well. Thanks for the support and hopefully I get enough of a following to bring you a story worth reading!
