Hey Abomination fans! Just a reminder that I now have a book club kinda thing set up at Inkshares wherein I recommend one new book every month. For a meager monthly subscription you get a copy of every book I pick! Here’s the link to the club:

And here’s this month’s selection! Fun!

Hello Abomination people! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me since things have been relatively quiet on the Whitta-Inkshares front, but all that is about to change.

Inkshares has a spiffy new feature called Syndicates. Here’s how it works. Once you join my syndicate (because mine will obviously be the best), Inkshares will charge you a monthly fee of $10 or $20, depending on the level you choose. Each month my syndicate will be supporting/promoting a new Inkshares title; $10 members get the ebook, while $20 members get the ebook and a physical copy (regardless of the actual price of the book). So basically it’s kind of a subscription/book club, but each syndicate is specifically curated. My syndicate, called Nomad, will be focusing on sci-fi and fantasy literature.

Sounds pretty cool, right? WELL THAT’S BECAUSE IT IS.

See here for a more detailed explanation of how syndicates work: https://www.inkshares.com/faq#28

And here’s where you can go to see my syndicate and sign up!

Digging the book so far, Gary.  Nice work :)  If you wanna swing by my project and preorder, I'll have my wife grab a second copy of yours in hardback to give to my local library :)

Gary, I bought Abomination on the strength of your screenplay for Book of Eli, not so much After Earth. Seriously, I already know your talent and cannot wait to finish my copy. Or see what you'll come up with for Star Wars. Keep writing.

Hello. Just wanted to say that I read the whole book in one sitting yesterday. And it was a really good story, and well written.

Such an excellent read!  I don't normally read fantasy but I am glad I did this time.  The twists and turns always kept me on the edge of my seat.  Loved it, thanks for a great story!

YaY! Congratulations, Gary! I can't wait to read it!

The day has finally arrived! Abomination is officially published! That might seem like something of a non-event to those of you who backed the book because you've already had your copies for a while, but for everyone else -- me especially -- this is a very big deal!

Abomination is now available on Amazon, iBooks, Google Play and in bookstores like Barnes & Noble, Powells and Books Inc. IT'S A REAL BOOK AND IT IS ALL THANKS TO YOU. To everyone who backed the project and made this possible, I can never thank you enough. I want to kiss all of you on the face.

Early reaction to the book has been phenomenal with a number of terrific reviews and amazing feedback from early readers. 95% of readers on Goodreads like the book, that's insane! And 83% of our Amazon reviews are 5-star! That's also insane! If you haven't yet, please do take a moment to leave a rating and/or short review on Goodreads and Amazon, it really does help. I would love love LOVE to write another book, and how this first one does will really decide if I get to do that.

Once again, thank you so much for bringing Abomination to life. KISSES FOREVER

Hello Abomination backers and readers! It's still nine days until the book officially starts showing up in bookstores, but many of you already have your copies from Inkshares and Amazon is now shipping it too!

So far reader reaction looks terrific with 96% of people on Goodreads liking the book and 83% 5-star reviews on Amazon! Again, please do leave a review/rating on those sites if you liked the book, it really helps get the word out and increases the chance of me being able to write another one!

ALSO! Abomination is up for Best Debut Cover in an online contest! No surprise there as the art by Jason Gurley is phenomenal, and since many backers had a hand in selecting the final cover during the development process this is an honor we share with all of you. If you have a moment please hit the link below and give Abomination your vote!

Hello all!

Well by now most if not all of you should have received your physical copies of Abomination in the mail. If you don't have yours yet, it should be any day now! I just got back from San Diego Comic-Con where, with the help of the Inkshares crew, I signed a LOT of copies of the book and hopefully helped to spread the word a little bit.

So yeah, by now I hope a bunch of you are enjoying the book. I've been hearing from many of you via Twitter, and that's a great way to send me your thoughts, I'll retweet the best ones I receive. Pictures are always great to see! My Twitter handle is @garywhitta

Oh, and PLEASE PLEASE do leave a review/rating on Amazon and/or Goodreads if you like the book, that's really crucial in helping spread the word. So far we have a 96% positive rating on Goodreads, but there's always room for improvement! :-)
