I'm interested to see where the story is going. I felt a little lost because I was unfamiliar with the characters, but I was able to get past that to see what was going on. 

The chapter end felt a little abrupt with the looming fight getting interrupted by the sudden arrival of "her" and the monster.

I will come back for more.
