With a unique narrative structure, the reader will get a sense of two worlds, both of which the protagonist fully exists in. This takes the level of conflict to a new height as well as playing off the difference between external and internal conflict already within the character. I found that the moments when the character was reading something on a screen as it would appear, brought me to see through their eyes, which helped make the world.
