Stop what you're doing an pre-order this book. If you have somehow gotten to my review before reading the sample provided and my recommendation means anything is this world, then please follow my previous advice. I am neither blowing smoke nor attempting to garner favour, yet I feel compelled to say by combining sci-fi, Shakespeare, and a level of writing I aspire to, The Perilous Journeys of Pericles, Prince of Tyre makes me self conscious about writing anything resembling a critique. The sentences are nothing short of crafted, and both the author's voice and the world created exist in complimentary parallel to create a thoroughly enjoyable read.
