While Night Terrors needs an editor, I think it's a promising start. The beginning is slow, which might bore some readers, but it does set you nicely into the scene, explaining who Blair is and what she wants out of life. It sets the stage for the plot to begin without being nothing but one big infodump.
It's a little weighed down by unnecessarily detailed character descriptions and for a first person story is a little light on personality, but what does shine through makes Blair sound interesting. It does succeed in making me curious about what's hiding in the asylum and what challenges Blair and her team will face, and how they will (hopefully) overcome them. I can see the personalities of her team starting to form for me, and I want to see what kind of dynamics they have.
All in all, it's a curious start. It can go in any direction (Almost literally as I have no idea which way the story is going to go, and isn't that exciting?), so I would need to read more to have a full opinion, but it's a good start.
