I know Kaytalin Platt personally and I'm a huge fan of hers. That's how I was introduced to her book,
The Living God. Having read the beginning chapters, I'm now an equally huge fan of her writing. As I'm new to reading works from the fantasy genre, it's hard for me to critically review this story of magic and alternate worlds, but I'm truly fascinated by this story. The characters, although supernatural, exude real feelings and, living in a multi-dimensional realm, easily translate to our modern times. From the ambitious opening sequence, where Saran magically reverses time, to the end of Chapter 4, where Saran and Keleir confide in each other that they would give up everything for the chance to live happily ever after in peace, it's easy to see
The Living God is going to be a great read. I encourage you to promptly start reading the introductory chapters Kaytalin has posted here, and know you too will love these characters and be pre-ordering this book.
