I have loved fantasy books for as long as I can remember. Fantasy series like A Wrinkle in Time, The Dragonriders of Pern, His Dark Materials, The Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter drove my childhood and seeded in me a life long love of the complex and intricate machinations that drive fantasy realms. Kaytalin Platt's series seems like a book that will be in the same vein as the above--one I will remember fondly and want to go back and re-read years after my first encounter with it. The posted excerpts that I have read so far intrigue me to no end, and I can't wait to see what comes next. I look forward to when I finally have the entire novel in my hands, and I can sink my teeth into my next favorite series!
