Chapter 5 takes us to the evening in which Diggory made Helen’s acquaintance. However, her father isn’t too keen with his precious daughter talking to one of the poor boys from the tent-camp. Who knows the depths to which a jealous, narcissistic father will go to keep his little girl from a cocky little peasant boy?
