By the time the first chapter ended, I was beyond hooked. Mike Donald paints a vivid picture of Louisiana encompassed by both crime and storm alike. He makes the reader feel as if they are in the coach, traveling through the hurricane beaten path, in the swamps of the Creole State. Well done Mike, well done!
