I've only read the prologue and the first chapter, but I've already pre-ordered the rest. It really is that good. Comparisons to Douglas Adams' surreal absurdities are accurate.
A Beast Requires thrums with bombastic vibrancy, uproarious descriptions and apathetic livestock seeming to bounce from the pages. You can almost smell the effluent seeping from the cracks of the madhouse of Aurum. This is a book to keep both eyes on. Highly recommended.
