Hi all. Things have progressed since I last updated this page. Ward is being re-launched and the second book in the series is well under way and about to head out to beta readers as we speak. Freshly edited, with a rejigged cover and copywritten description, I am looking to publish it in February.
For the relaunch, I have put up a ARC copy on Instafreebie. So if you want to check out a gritty dark urban fantasy/horror then head on over and download a copy now. And don’t forget to share!
It’s hard to be the ’good guy’ when you lead the local cell of the League, a terrorist organization. Gang warfare turns out to be the least of your worries when shadowy organizations start targeting your friends.
I’ve now uploaded six chapters of my exciting steampunk tale, The Mechanical Turk.
It took me a good while to get around to self-editing this one what with work on Ward and improving my skill to a degree where I was actually happy. Ward took me just over three years and six drafts. The Turk I wrote over a year ago, and the difference in writing I saw even before giving it a once over was pretty stark.
But now it’s time to move on and move the story on, one way or another.
The Turk was a lot of fun to write and I hope that comes through in reading it also. It is a tale of adventure and mystery.
If you do read and enjoy please do share and recommend. If it gets enough of a following I will put it up for pre-order and see how it goes.
I think it would be really helpful to be able to choose more than one genre for a book. Being able to pick three, or at LEAST two, would really help with describing one’s book and getting it in front of the readers who could be interested in it.
My book, Fae Child, is a YA Fantasy - but I can only pick one or the other at the moment, which halves my audience.
