Kendra Namednil liked an update for Witherfist

Hello, readers! I hope you’re all well.

This month’s Witherfist update is a relatively short one as there isn’t a lot that’s changed since the last time I was in touch, aside from the number of words that I’ve written. Work on the manuscript is coming along nicely and at the steady - sometimes galloping - pace that I’d hoped for. No news, as they say, is good news.

One new thing that I can share with you, though, is a new piece of character concept art.  This is Oriku. She’s an assassin, and that’s all I’m going to tell you about her for now ;-)

Kendra Namednil liked an update for The Knightmares

    Hello Knightmares!

It’s been a while, and there’s a very good reason for that. For one, I am balancing a career and my writing as best I can, which is not always a winning battle. In addition to that, I really don’t have much to update everyone with, as I am waiting my turn like everyone else. Inkshares has a ton of books all in the same queue, and we will be notified by the publisher when our time comes. As soon as I hear something, I will make an announcement.

I do, however, have good news. Since everyone has been waiting patiently for The Knightmares, I don’t want to let anyone down, or lose any momentum I may have had. With this in mind I devised a plan...

Starting on April 1st (no fooling) I will be releasing BRAND NEW FREE content on the first of every month leading up to The Knightmares release. This content will be available on my new author site that will be launching in a few weeks. Not only am I writing Vexed, but I have been squeezing every available moment I can into writing this content, creating a new webpage, and also creating artwork as well, ALL FOR YOU!

The free content includes a mythology that introduces everyone to an interconnected world I call SCALES. Borrowed from my love of Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Mesopotamian mythology and folklore, this mythology will start at the beginning, and set up the stage for epic level world events that will be the stage of each of my novels. There will be a few surprises for those who enjoy classic Lovecraftian horror, which I hope does not disappoint.

I will be sending out an official email across all channels when the content and the site are ready. Hopefully this will keep your appetite roaring for when the book goes into official production.

Thanks again everyone, for your support!

Kendra Namednil liked an update for To Live and Die in Avalon

      Greetings Earthlings,

The project page has once again been updated, with a spicy new hook and revised synopsis. The completed draft is sitting on my desktop waiting to be made into a real thing that can be bought and consumed. So, know that if and when the campaign starts anew, you are going to be investing in a complete project, ready to be edited and buffed and shined into full-blown amazingness (not a word, don’t judge me, you get the point).

      Thanks for your support!

Kendra Namednil liked an update for I Am Waltz

        Readers and Friends,

Wanted to give everyone an update on I Am Waltz. The book currently with Inkshares and will be going through the editing process before it is printed. Thank you all for your continued support and your patience.

Inkshares has had the manuscript since December, however editing and working through all these books is a time-consuming process, so please hang in there with me.

I will be starting book 2 soon. My goal is that shortly after you all receive your copies of I Am Waltz, I will be able to email out rough drafts of the first chapters of book 2.

Please message me with any questions, I will be happy to answer.

        Thank you,

        Matt

Kendra Namednil liked an update for The Walls are Closing In

Another week is wrapping itself up rather quickly, and I will do the same with this update. Just a few points.

The first chapter of The Walls are Closing In was published in Inigo Online Magazine earlier this week! "Inigo Online is an international online magazine centered around people who create, invent or take risks for a project or a dream. We feature writers, artisans, poets, musicians, artists of all types, entrepreneurs, bloggers, filmmakers, foodies, fashionistas, photographers, innovators and more."

The Walls are Closing In passed the 300 order mark, and as promised, there is a new teaser trailer, made by yours truly.

          Future milestone perks!

Let’s keep the word spreading! Just two referral orders from each follower will lock this full publishing deal down. I appreciate each and every one of you!

400 Orders - Audio version of Chapter 1 - Narrated by me. We will see how my voice-over chops measure up.

500 Orders - A limited edition The Walls are Closing In postcard (design to be revealed next week) will be sent to each of the first 500 to order (tipped in upon publication for paperback orders, or mailed for e-book orders.)

          Until next time,

          Jacqui

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Detective Diaries

            Hello Detectives,

I have some good news. This weekend I’m planning to post a sneak peek of the first chapter, but I don’t know what day or time at the moment. This week has been very test heavy for me, so I at least want to post some improvements of the chapter soon, so that you all get the gist of the path I’m taking. It’ll be around 400 words probably. I’d like some support from the readers and feedback if you’re willing--anything is welcomed. Until then!

            Sincerely,

            Anthony Jones III

Kendra Namednil liked an update for Blue Water

              Hey everyone.

Just sending out a quick message to let you all know that I haven’t vanished off the face of the earth. Inkshares has the manuscript for Blue Water, and it’s in line for production.  There are quite a few books ahead of us, so it’s definitely going to be a minute before the book is in your hands. I hope you are all as excited for Blue Water to be in your hands as I am. The minute I get any update, I’ll pass it on to you.

And between now and then, please continue to tell your friends about Blue Water. It’s still able to be preordered, and momentum in sales may help us climb the ladder a little quicker.

And keep your eye on us.  I’ve got some fun things planned for the months ahead.

              Thank you all.

Kendra Namednil recommended Everything is Normal: The Life and Times of a Soviet Kid
There are some authors that seem to sit in the same room with you as their words pour across your soul. This is one of those. From fondly remembered moments to withdrawn testaments, from tongue in cheek humor to flat our revelations, this is masterful.
Everything is Normal: The Life and Times of a Soviet Kid
One eventful middle-class childhood behind the Iron Curtain in Soviet Leningrad. A mix of a fun memoir and social history of the years preceding the collapse of the USSR. (The book is finished.)
Kendra Namednil liked an update for Sorcery for Beginners

                Friends, Readers, and Sorcerers All,

It’s here at last! The final cover design for Sorcery for Beginners, done by the amazing Mike Corley (with graphics from illustrator Juliane Crump). Without further ado:

Love it love it love it. Mike managed to capture the feel of a 1940s how-to guide but also make something that is striking and engaging. On top of that, we were able to add in elements from the book itself. All the graphics on the cover relate to the story in some way. There’s even a coded message in runes. I can’t wait to see this on bookshelves.

I couldn’t be happier. Actually, I could, because we also have pages on Amazon and Goodreads!

                Amazon
                Goodreads

These two sites are extremely important when it comes to book marketing. The more people add the book to their wish lists, the more the sites will drive traffic to them. So even though you guys have already done so much, I have another favor to ask. If you could log in to your Amazon or Goodreads account and add Sorcery for Beginners to your Wish List and ’Want to Read’ list, it will make a HUGE difference for us.

Thanks again for everything. More updates coming soon!
