I’ve been writing since I was three and have a great love for the classics, fantasy, and sci-fi, all of which I’ve blended into "UnHoly Pursuit." I’ve a B.A in Social Science and minor major history and geography. I won awards for my ability to name every country in the world, its capital and native language. I intertwined this talent into the scene of many plots through out the book. As a child I won the state’s version of the junior Edgar Allen Poe reward for reciting the Raven by memory. I received a award for writing an essay on my interpretation of the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Performed in the Greek tragedies in high and college was rewarded by a ticket to the musical "Cats" where I was fortunate enough to meet Andrew Lloyd Webber. No, I did not get a chance to sit and talk with him although doing so would have been a dream come true. I’m an avid reader and book collector who has a deep appreciation for the written word.
"UNHOLY PURSUIT: TH DEVIL ON MY TRAIL is a story of young woman being violently pursued by the forces of evil. They want to make her use the supernatural powers she doesn’t yet know she possesses for their own nefarious schemes. But after realizing she will in no way comply, they wish to kill her before she learns how to use the fiery Sword of the Archangel Michael. Although she is unaware of it, she is a born Nazarene warrior saint.
It’s a story survival among the cruelest being on earth. Which isn’t demons, but mankind. All Ana BuFaye wants to be left is alone and allowed to live in peace. But hell can not and will not let that be the case. She faces many harrying episodes nearly costing her and her child their lives. The dark forces manipulate events until they push her out into a world that cares nothing for her pain. In the midst of staying a few steps ahead of the darkside’s henchmen and women she finds an unlikely ally- her would be killer. Someone whom even the darkforces fear, Azazael falls in love with her and pledges his protection.
It is an excellent book for those who enjoy a unique and exciting reading experience. Blending together action, wry humor, history, mythology of the ancient god and goddesses, the supernatural, time travel and romance all in one book it is a thrill ride from beginning to end.
As someone who has had a lifetime of experience with the paranormal and the supernatural, Ana BuFaye believes in ghosts, ghouls, and things that go bump in the night. But nothing could prepare her for the drastic turn her life is about to take.
