So totally stole this from J.F. Dubeau. Life has been so busy, I didn't have time to write this myself. So thanks J.F.!
Today is the first Inkshares Review-a-Thon!
The heck is that you ask? It’s a day where Inkshares and we authors encourage everyone to leave reviews of books funding on Inkshares!
How do we do that you may ask? Well, by giving away stuff obviously. So what do you have to do to participate?
Simply go to Inkshares and browse books that are currently funding and leave reviews. You’ll be entered into a draw for cool prizes! It’s that simple!
Prizes? Prizes!:
Sword & Laser Contest Winners Package - print copies of the six winning books from the Sword & Laser Inkshares contest for one winner!
Nerdist Contest Winners Package - print copies of the five winning books from the Nerdist Inkshares contest for one winner!
An immediate pre-order of the book of their choice for five winners!
$30 in Inkshares credits for five winners!
But wait, there’s more! Starting at 6pm EST, Ageless author Paul Inman and I will be hanging out on YouTube interviewing people from Inkshares, talking to authors and needing out about books.
I really should have posted more about this but it’s been a busy week.
Wait… are you still here? Go review some books!
I’m probably not due for a reader update just yet, but I wanted to take a quick minute of everyone’s time to THANK YOU ALL!!!
The Review-a-Thon on Saturday was fantastic! I read some great books (bought as many as I could afford… there is so much talent on Inkshares!) I also got a load of great reviews: Thank you Alan Tucker (The Devil You Know), Brian Guthrie (Rise), Alex Bittner (Daughter of the Mara), Julian Green & Finn Mcrae (Suffrage – The First World Key), Margo Munro, Stephen Carignan (The Sleeping Man), Janna Grace (The Talkers Are Talking), Michael Valdez (Blurred Weaponry), and Shawn Davy! I was also the lucky winner of the Sword and Laser package – Print copies of all 6 books from the first S&W contest (can’t wait to get my hands on these books!).
Thank you again to the amazing A.C. Weston for putting together the event! Everyone should check out her book (She is the End). Trust me - you’ll thank me!
I also wanted to thank everyone who bought/shared/recommended my book for their incredible support and generosity!
Hi everybody,
hope you are starting to feel the Christmas Spirit all around you!
Short update: Yesterday Irish Cancer Society posted on my behalf on their Facebook page. 25% of the revenue will go to their research programme and they will help promoting it once it is published. I´m still deciding on a possible other organization to give to, suggestions are welcome. I´m now on 231 sold copies(it´s a bit time lag on the inkshares page but I get a report with the latest numbers), much thanks to your support!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and hope you get some valuble time to relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones.
Take care of each other,
Caroline
