J. Graham-Jones liked an update for Mission 51

Hi, Mission 51 family!

I need your help! My work in the hospital is keeping me from making personal contact. 12-hour shifts plus 45-minute commutes does not leave much time left in the day.

FOUR days remain in the Nerdist Sci-Fi Contest. I have been in 1st place for the entire contest so far because of generous supporters like you, but it looks like I might lose my top spot today. As you well know, at risk is a coveted publishing contract for the top three contestants. There are now 177 contestants, and they are all working very hard to get there.

Here are the current rankings in terms of pre-orders:
151 for Mission 51, currently in 1st place
149 for the contestant currently in 2nd place
128 for the contestant currently in 3rd place
119 for the contestant currently in 4th place
110 for the contestant currently in 5th place

I have written over 500 personal messages to everyone I know, asking for their pre-order, and have been blessed with a great response. I am reaching out to you now because you are my best supporters. Many of you have been with me since the beginning. It is difficult for me to ask for even more of your generosity, but I am desperate. This contest is a lifetime opportunity for me as a writer.

So here is my request. It would NOT help for you to place another pre-order, as the contest requires unique individual email addresses. So… Would you encourage your spouse or a close friend to place a pre-order? Today? Or ASAP? The contest ends on June 25, so there is no time to delay.

Thank you! Please know that I am very grateful for what you have done already! I would not be asking more of you if I wasn’t in desperate need.

Peace!
-Ferd

    Contest update time!

    Hey guys!
So the Nerdist contest is over in just a few days, and it’s been some exciting weeks until now. It all ends this coming weekend!
’’Artificial Generation’’ has, because of you, managed to stay among top 10 since it got there! That is amazing! Especially now, as there are 170 contestants. But this weekend we fell to 8th place. We’ve managed to claw our way up to a shared 6th, but that is not among the top 3, and we need to be among top 3 to win this contest. We are so close!
So to those of you still just following, now is the time to place your order. To those of you already ordered, please share the story with friends and family. Every order counts at this point!

’’Artificial Generation’’ is a book about opposites, diversity, self growth and understanding!
This story is more important than ever in this day and age.
Help me get it out there by pre-ordering.

Hope you had a great weekend!
    Cheers, Anniken

      J. Graham-Jones sent an update for 1000 Faces

Less than a week remains in the Nerdist contest. I’m sad to share that 1000 Faces has slipped from 5th to 7th place and that the gap between 1000 Faces and the top 3 is yawning ever wider. Without an unexpected surge of orders, it seems unlikely that we will be able to close that gap.

      Thank you all for support.

      ~ Jenny

        Happy Friday, all!

This is a short one, bc I don’t have much shareable news aside from what I’m about to share with you.

I was admiring my novel’s B&N.com page (we’ve all done it, don’t judge) when I noticed something there that I wasn’t anticipating.

That’s right, y’all. That is a starred review from the Library Journal. It’s not Publishers Weekly or anything, but I still had a mild panic attack when I saw it.

Enjoy your weekends, and happy Father’s Day to those who celebrate.

        -J.
