I haven't even read past the first chapter, and I'm so thrilled with this that I need to leave a review. I'm in love with this narrative, this setting, this tone, all of it. I think I just found my new favorite Inkshares book, and I look forward to pre-orders on this project!

The writing comfortably inhabits the world it is creating through careful word choices and engaging characters. By having the opening written from the point of view of one of the characters, the reader gets a since of history which lends authenticity to the world. The author is hidden behind the machinations of the writing itself which draws greater focus to the story. I look forward to reading more.
