Matt Kaye liked an update for Welcome to Deadland

It’s here! I’m pleased to release the official cover of Welcome to Deadland! I hope you all love it and can’t wait for you to be able to hold it in your hands and dive into it’s pages! I’d like to thank David Drummond for his design work, the awesome folks over at Nerdist, Inkshares, and Girl Friday for their help and input reaching this monumental step! This was a great group effort!

Thank you all for your support! Only a few more months to go!

Magic. Jerimiah has always has been told such a thing don’t exist in the real world and to leave that for his video games. He knew he should listen and accept that as truth. However, on his 8th birthday something dreadful happens that changes everything.

Four years later, destiny reunites Jeremiah to where it all began, the house of his grandfather Victorio. Now nightmares that used to plague his dreams return to haunt him once again; two cloaked figures arguing with his grandfather in their backyard, and attacked him in ways he could only explain as magical.

Suddenly, strange and unexplainable things begin to happen at the house. Things that will make Jerimiah question everything he knew about his family and the world itself.

Hey guys and gals!  So I decided to try my hand at pre-orders. My friends and co workers have been asking when I would start the process, so I decided to stop hesitating.  Pre-Orders are now live.  Though work will continue to be busy with spring break in it’s final stretch, I hope to add more edited chapters posted as orders progress.  Please take a peek and consider purchasing a book!

Matt Kaye liked an update for Mission 51

First of all, fist-bumps and high-fives to the new Mission 51 followers! (XO’s later when we get to know each other better.)

This is a ***MAJOR GEEK-OUT ALERT***

By sometime this weekend, you can expect the upload of a chapter called "5D for Dummies." Certainly no offense intended to this savvy Inkshares Sci-Fi crowd, well-versed in the science of alternate dimensions. But the same can’t be said for the average reader, hence the need for this chapter!

Joking aside, besides the 5D geek-out, this chapter reinforces significant sub-themes that are present throughout Mission 51, namely: the reality of loss and the importance of change.

      Stay tuned!

      Peace!

      Ferd :-)

6 Days to Launch - Updates Various

        • I was on a podcast! [WriteBrain - Episode 18] Hosts JF Dubeau and Paul Inman were very kind to invite me on  - talked a lot of dish about the genesis (ooh, fancy word) of AMOD - the funding campaign, working on the cover design, editing, etc. Also got to talk about some other great campaigns here on Inkshares like The Life Interstellar. Go click and download so you can enjoy my awkwardness and naked neuroses in AUDIO FORMAT.
        • New review from Examiner.com! A respectable 4 stars and juicy blurbs like this: "With subtle hints to science fiction, Asteroid Made of Dragons could be the fantasy version of Guardians of the Galaxy. " NICE.
        • I can’t feel my face.
        • My first two books (Spell/Sword and The Riddle Box) are still going to be free on Kindle 4/5-4/9. That is still a thing that is happening.
        • Are stress ghosts a thing?
        • Oooh, oooh, oooh! Now that you guys are finishing the book, not only can you leave REVIEWS (*cough*) but you can also play the movie casting game I set up a while back - get in there and FIGHT: http://www.thebookcaster.com/asteroid-made-of-dragons/
        • I still love you. After all this time.

We’re almost there, you slapdash wizards of wonder. One year of rocket burn to land this puppy next Tuesday. Bring your cool shades for the Neil Armstrong moment. Thank you - again and again and again.

The Show is now live as an Audiobook via Penguin Random House.

Narrated by Tristan Morris, the book transform into a great audio-drama.
