Hi everyone, first off I wanted to thank all the supporters who pre-ordered The Silver Ninja.
I am about 4 chapters away from completion of the rough draft and judging by the amount of preorders and followers, it's clear that the samples I've posted so far aren't quite good enough.
This isn't a surprise because what I posted are rough drafts. Everything is subject to change and I haven't even started hammering out the prose to the professional quality it needs to be. When I started this project, it was with the intention of taking my time, filling any plot holes, and making sure the prose is fun and engaging.
So when the Nerdist suddenly announced their contest from August to September, I rushed to jump in knowing that the book wasn't anywhere close to ready. I wanted to promoted the book early and take that 1 in a million shot to get published by the Nerdist to gain my project some exposure.
You see, this is technically a reboot. The 1st release of The Silver Ninja was a critical flop and with good reason. I can't even look at the original text without cringing. This book, The Silver Ninja 2.0 (final cover art pending) is my shot at redemption.
I'll need all the help I can get and if you readers want to see the rough drafts and help share ideas on how I can make it better. I'm all ears and willing to listen to feedback. I don't think we'll ever hit 1,000 preorders that wasn't my goal but the readers that are here, you can be a part of shaping the final narrative.
Thank you for the support and if you're a fellow author, good luck on hitting your milestone goals.
