Well, being ethereal means that it is a gentle and delicate substance, almost too perfect to exist. I was trying to say that they were stuck fast but not by anything they could see or feel.  I see what you mean, though. I’ll reword it. Thanks!

      The human held the weighty bag in one hand, and with the other retrieved another spellbomb. These were spells that a wizard placed into a small handheld clay ball. Once broken, whatever spell lay inside would activate. They were made for those who could not do magic, but needed it’s help.
