Betty Inglis Poort liked an update for Manifesto: A Tale of Murder

Hey everybody.  Only two weeks until Halloween!  It is my favorite holiday.  Costumes, parties, scary movies and haunted houses are all fantastic.  Speaking of Halloween, we have until exactly Halloween to get into the winner’s circle of the Crypt TV contest.  So share some links, convince some friends, and help Manifesto: A Tale of Murder win this thing.

Cheers,

Dan

I’m pleased to announce that due to the onset of Fall I have not had to run my air conditioner in my apartment for two weeks.  On another note, if all of you who have supported Manifesto can each convince one more person to order it today, we would skyrocket to the winner’s circle in the Crypt TV Contest.  It would be a huge deal for me and would help get the book that you paid hard earned money for into your hands.  So, give it a try.  Everyone has at least one friend that could be talked into it.  For those of you who haven’t ordered yet, you can all be my new favorite people if you do.

Hello friends.  Thank you for supporting Manifesto!  To everyone who purchased this week especially, thank you.  To those of you who haven’t, do you like stories with predictably happy endings?  If so, this book is not for you.  But, if you like a story that will keep you guessing until the end, check out Manifesto: A Tale of Murder.  Get in the Halloween spirit and help me out in the Crypt TV contest.  There are just about two weeks until the competition ends.  Share the links from Inkshares and talk your significant other into getting a copy.  Buy one in your dog’s name.  Buy extra’s and give them as gifts when it arrives.  Mostly though, just keep being awesome.

Thanks to everyone who has supported Manifesto so far.  With only 20 days left in the Crypt TV contest, we are in fifth.  That is all despite the fact that we joined when it was halfway over!  But to get into the winner’s circle (top three) I need your help.  If everyone who hasn’t ordered yet makes an order, and we get a few referrals from the people who have, we can be in the winner’s circle by the end of the week.  Again, thanks everyone.

        Cheers,

        Dan

P.S.  If we can’t get 50 more orders by the end of the week, the terrorists win.

After joining the Crypt TV contest a month late, Manifesto: A Tale of Murder has moved into fifth place!  Everyone likes an underdog, and my entry is a quality read.  If you think it deserves to be in the winner’s circle, order it today!  We have made up a lot of ground, but starting late put us at a disadvantage.  Help me get this book into the top three.  Also, check out the new cover art.

Thanks everyone!  So, it has been a great week so far and I cannot thank everyone enough for the support.  A special shout out to J Graham Jones, who is the first person from outside of the states to support this project with her dollars (or pounds I suppose).  I am within striking distance of finishing my second draft and I’ll have more samples this weekend.

As most of you know, I am in the Crypt TV horror contest which ends on Halloween.  Despite joining super late, your support has helped me move into 5th place in less than two weeks.  As I am making up for lost time, I’m hoping that those of you haven’t pre-ordered will do so this weekend if you believe this project belongs in the winner’s circle, which I certainly believe it does.  For those of you who have ordered, I thank you again.  If each of you can convince 2 others to pre-order over the weekend we will likely move up to the top three.  Again, thanks for everything.  You’re all amazing.  Also, if you don’t pre-order the terrorists win.

            Cheers,

            Dan

Betty Inglis Poort liked a review for Manifesto: A Tale of Murder
Poort takes the reader on a tour of the mind. Manifesto cleverly examines the musings of a murderer in a way that is both hysterical, familiar, and horrifying. The murderer feels like a normal person going through the motions of a mediocre and disappointing life. Just when you begin to identify with the murderer, his broken psyche takes you for a whirl in the land of the macabre. Manifesto is one of the most intriguing projects on Inkshares, and that is saying something.
