M. Robert Randolph liked an update for And the Wolf Shall Dwell

Happy Friday all,

I have a few updates for this weekend, but having already sent an update this week, I’ll make it snappy.

(1) 14 Orders left to reach Full INKSHARES Publishing !! That’s right, you can stop rubbing your eyes! We have 15 days to get less than an order per day.. are we up for it?!

(2) Please check out my interview on Nell Walton’s great blog. Nell offered this feature even though the novel has nothing to do with SciFi or Fantasy , I did say I’ll look into sticking a dragon in there... Khaleesi John maybe? ;-)

(3) The Syndicate I lead here on Inkshares "Thriller Night" now has a Goodreads group. This is in effort to increase exposure of thrillers, mysteries and suspense novels on Inkshares; and to increase Inkshares’ visibility on Goodreads. We let authors who are nominated for our backing pitch their books, and a few have already done so. We encourage membership from everybody, not just paying syndicate members. You are invited through this link.

Again, thank you all for the amazing support!

    Story Update:

When only a few thin layers of fabric are the only things protecting you from an empty, hostile void, you want to make sure you’re getting the best protection available. Fortunately, Mary Ketch and the rest of the crew of The Diamelen have been equipped with highly reliable exo-suits. Will these suits be enough to keep them safe in the unknown depths of Tantalus 13? Only time will tell...

Also, thanks to your continued support, we’ve hit another pre-order milestone!

That’s right! We’ve officially crossed the halfway mark toward the 750 pre-order goal! We are currently right on schedule for the campaign. Keep it going, everyone! We have a long way to go, but we will get there.

      M. Robert Randolph liked an update for First on Mars

      Hello all!

      News

Good news! “First on Mars” just got another great review, this time from Kendra Namednil (maybe go check out her book Borehole Bazaar). This means there are now six great reviews!

In other news, “First on Mars” is about one-third of the way to Quill! There’s no time to rest though. We still have a long way to go.

As an incentive, I’m going to post the next full chapter (6: Bottom Up) when we hit 100 orders (which is not too far away). Although it still needs some work, the draft is done. This chapter is when the real crisis of the book begins and things really get interesting. So please pre-order, share, or recommend!

      Art

As part of doing research for this book, I’ve hacked together some concept artwork. Here is one such image, a design concept for Rigel:

      Readers

One of the great things about funding this book is that I’ve gotten readers from all over the world. Here’s a map of the readership (Inkshares provides this by analyzing IP addresses I assume):

Thank you for reading. In case you were wondering, you’re the reason I write. Yes, you, the one reading this – not those other people, just you. :)

      Until next time,

The orders have been coming in slowly but surely!  I am very excited to be nearing the milestone of 250 orders and I wanted to show you all a photo of the Hero Seaplane model from the novel that I will raffle off to a Lucky Winner once we reach Quill publication!  Each order gets an entry and if things go well I will be raffling off another hand-painted seaplane at every hundred order mark thereafter.  So ... pre-order 1 or 2 or 10 books to increase your chances and lets get this High-flyin’ South Pacific adventure into your hands and bookstores worldwide!

Also, this campaign is one of the few rare titles to be offered in Hardcover!

Sincerely, your friendly Flying Boat Captain - Eric H. Heisner

          Hey Everyone,

With 13 days left in the campaign, we are 51 percent funded. Thanks to those of you who pushed me past that mark over the weekend. We just need 121 orders and we are published!

Last week, I said that every new pre-order made until we hit 250 would be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift card. However, I have decided to change that. Rather than one drawing at the 250 mark, we will have three drawings at three different milestones.

The first drawing will happen at the 150 mark. All pre-orders that were made since my last announcement have already been entered into this.

The second raffle (the prize of which will be announced when we hit 151) will be for all pre-orders made after 151 and will span to the 200 mark.

The final will be for pre-orders 201 to 250.

Again, thanks for taking this journey with me. We are almost there. Please continue to spread the word.

          Rob

            M. Robert Randolph liked an update for The Sleeping Man

            Good morning Dreamers!

Well, the work continues even if it is made more difficult by moving across the country, but something must be working because we are only 11 pre-orders away, which is two less than a baker’s dozen.

And if that wasn’t enough, Stuart McCune of Millicent Barnes Comics has created some custom artwork for The Sleeping Man! The first is an alternate cover:

And here’s The Sleeping Man standing:

And here’s my personal favorite, Conqua:

So let’s finish these last 11 orders and someone will get a signed print of whichever one they pick. The cover? The Sleeping Man? Conqua? If you’ve bought more than one copy, each order counts as an entry, so it means better odds for you!

We have so much time left, but let’s not wait. Let’s keep this going and guarantee publication so I can stop matching on Tinder for pre-orders.

            Sweet Dreams,

            Stephen
