James Rasile liked an update for Mission 51

Hi everybody!

Just a quick update. The Mission 51 family continues to grow, even in draft mode! I am excited to see more than 200 followers! Wow! A big welcome to all the new ones since the last update. I am so happy you are onboard!

Well, Mat is now officially on the loose! I have written his escape from a 15-year captivity in Area 51. He accomplished all he needed and wanted, and it was time for him to move on. He finally gets to experience "Cerulea" in all its glory! I look forward to you reading this someday soon.

Mission 51 is currently entered in the 2016 Launch Pad Manuscript Competition. Please cross fingers and toes that it is well received!

I am continuing to work with artists Idan Carre and Chris Pyke to add visual beauty to Mission 51. This has been a really fun part of the project!

That’s it for now. See? Quick!

Peace and love, y’all!

Ferd   :-)

James Rasile liked an update for A Beast Requires

Two weeks in and 58 of you have so far jumped on and backed A Beast Requires! By your powers combined, you’ve pre-ordered 79 books, which is fantastic!

This week I also uploaded my first awkward author video, where I break down a bit more of A Beast Requires. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, pop on over to the campaign page. Listening to my attempt at diction makes an ideal companion to refreshing your email or checking the latest Olympic medal counts.

This week is going to be all about the push. To paraphrase the bards, Salt-N-Pepa, we’re going to "push it real good."

Here’s what I need you to do. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, random strangers on the bus, and everyone waiting for their morning latte about A Beast Requires, and why you think it’s fantastic. I know this book has been tickling funny bones and making many of you laugh, so spread that laughter like a virus. Lie in wait for them to read the sample chapters, because you know what’s coming. Will they snort? Attempt to muffle their grin? Will they burst out with a laugh from their gut that resonates the ceiling tiles? The possibilities are endless.

A Beast Requires needs to be unleashed, and we can make that happen.

James Rasile liked an update for Cross, Massachusetts

Hello Everyone! Once again, let me thank you for taking the time to be part of my project. I should be putting a third story up this weekend, if not today. I hope you’re enjoying my town of Cross, Massachusetts, and that you understand stealing is bad, and stay in your own room when you enter a flophouse. :)

James Rasile liked an update for Devils in the Valley

I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend! I’ll try to make this update short and sweet. As I’ve mentioned in a previous update, according to Inkshares’ ideal rate of funding, Devils in the Valley should have 200 pre-orders by my birthday, August 26th.

That’s a pretty tall order. I think it’s only fair that I offer a reward if we reach it...

If we reach 200 pre-orders by 8/26, one of the first 200 pre-orderers will get a special item: a "From the Exercitus Files" manual that contains the update goal information (like the character profiles) and some other world-building content from Devils in the Valley--all in a physical, signed copy. If we reach 200 pre-orders by 8/26, every reader in the first 200 pre-orders will receive a free PDF copy of this manual. These manuals will all be distributed after the campaign ends. This "From the Exercitus Files" manual reward is in addition to any update rewards I’ve already listed on the Inkshares page.

Of course, this is only if we hit the astronomical 200 pre-ordered copies by August 26th. So put in your order, and convince your friends to do the same, ASAP!

James Rasile liked an update for Crawls

Been hard at work on my horror/comedy novel Crawls in hopes of having a finished novel sooner than later. But what you may not know is when I’m not writing about hunting rat monsters in dank sewers tunnels, I’m writing and illustrating kid’s books (I know. Crazy, right?) My first title, Come Out of Your Shell, spins the yarn of a curmudgeonly Turtle who learns an important life lesson from an outgoing Snail. Please read a sample and follow Come of Your Shell  on Inkshares. Your continued support for my projects means the world to me. My deepest gratitude for getting these kooky ideas off the ground.

James Rasile sent an update for Cape’s Side Bay

              Hello Cape’s Side Bayers!

              Happy Saturday to all!

It has been quite an eventful week. 22 Days remain in the campaign. I decided to post the FRIDAY NIGHT chapter. It is still a rough draft of the chapter, so please keep that in mind. I hope you enjoy it. The SciFi elements are beginning to creep in and they really take flight in the following chapter: Monday Morning.

You can read Friday Night in its entirety here: https://www.inkshares.com/books/cape-s-side-bay/book_segments/friday-night

So, 22 days to go, and just over 100 orders left! I hope we can make full publishing in time. I am confident we will, but time will tell.  If there’s anything you need to hear from me to convince you to order a copy, don’t hesitate to ask! I have answers.

Once again thank you for all of the support you have shown, it’s been incredible and I feel blessed!

I cannot wait to see how far we can take Cape’s Side Bay! Please, order today and let’s hit full publishing by September 4th!

Thanks for the time and enjoy your day!
