    Hey Campers!

You can READ CHAPTER 10 NOW: https://www.inkshares.com/books/sunshine-is-forever/book_segments/chapter-10-acbfdd

     456 preorders placed, 294 preorders to go…

The amount of support surrounding my book so far thrills me. I’ve had orders from people I know really well, and from people I don’t know at all. A lot of my acting peers have really come to bat, and made me feel great about what I am trying to achieve. BUT we still haven’t quite made it to the finish line.

I really do need your help. I know, you already contributed an order, and that should be enough, but you supported this book for a reason. Whether it was because you support me as a person, because you know my family, because you’ve seen me on TV or in a Movie, or you just loved the writing, you backed this book because you believe in the product. So, let’s get it into 400+ bookstores across the country! Let’s make one final push to 750 preorders!

Please e-mail one friend, and urge them to preorder the book too! It won’t take you more than five minutes, and it will help me tremendously.

You can also invite all of your Facebook friends to this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1228625917161072/

If you are following the book, and you haven’t preordered, I would really appreciate it if you would TODAY!

    PREORDER NOW: https://www.inkshares.com/books/sunshine-is-forever

    $10 E-Book

    $20 Signed Copy

Thank you so much for your help in getting this far! I could really use your help with one final push to 750 preorders.

     You are all the best,

        Happy Thursday Campers!

We have crossed the halfway point! As it stands now, there are 383 preorders placed! FANTASTIC! BUT I still have a long way to 750...AND I am at the end of my network. I NEED YOUR HELP!

In lieu of a new chapter, this week, Jamison Stone, author of Rune of the Apprentice, asked me to do a guest blog post about why I chose InkShares as a distribution platform for my book. You can read my blog post here: http://apotheosisstudios.com/blog/2016/8/24/sunshine-is-forever-guest-post-by-kyle-t-cowan

If you haven’t preordered the book yet, you should! I could really use your support!

        PREORDER NOW: https://www.inkshares.com/books/sunshine-is-forever

Here are some ways you can help me get to 750 preorders:

        1) You can preorder a second copy of the book to give to a friend.

        2) You can invite your Facebook friends to preorder the book via this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1228625917161072/

        3) You can directly ask someone to preorder the book.

        4) You can ask family members to preorder as well. Every preorder counts.

These are just a few ideas! Your support means the world to me! Getting to 750 preorders is so important! I can’t do it without you!

Thank you so much for everything! Now, upwards to 750 preorders!

        With love,

Erica.Curran liked an update for An Unattractive Vampire

          Dear Readers,

Or should I say...Listeners? For behold, thanks to the magic of Inkshares and Drew Campbell’s British accent...

An Unattractive Vampire is on Audible!!!

Thank you to everyone at Inkshares, Audible, and Mr. Campbell for making this happen.

So I know you’re all thinking: "Jim, I need this for my sound holes, but money has decided (literally) to see other people right now." Well, here’s a thing: Audible sponsors just about every podcast in existence. They offer so many deals and promos, it’s kind of ridiculous. For example: Lore podcast, Hardcore History, and Blurry Photos all offer trial codes. So yes, listen to awesome inspiring podcasts and when you’re done, listen to my book as well.

Also, just a reminder that the Dragon Awards are quickly approaching, so time is running out to VOTE for Inkshares/Sword and Laser books including The Life Engineered, Asteroid Made of Dragons, and, of course, An Unattractive Vampire which also all happen to be available in e-book for the special low-low price of 99 cents until the end of the month. (Completely coincidental, I assure you. *WINK*) So please, vote for An Unattractive Vampire because what could be better than mixing vampires and dragons?

Erica.Curran liked an update for Invictus

            Hello lovelies!

First off, I’d like to apologize for the relative silence as of late. I’ve been beavering away writing and writing. And somehow, through some miracle, I managed to finish the first draft without being waylaid by my inner editor.

Only problem is that now, instead of pushing forward I’m finding myself immediately pilfering the many sticky notes and post-its I have made over the course of writing, and am currently well into the second draft.

So apologies for the delay, but Invictus is certainly not dead, and I am working on it full pelt/110%/maximum warp. Some points have needed some hefty revision work (as apparently writing at midnight under the influence of sedatives, gin and caffeine is not the best of ideas... I may have been pulling an ’Adrian’ so to speak).

If anyone would like to beta-test/read the first act, please do send me a message and I’ll link you along to it. I am more than willing to return the favour!

            Love,

            Em

Erica.Curran liked an update for The Knightmares

              Hello my Knightmares!

Wow! We had a great week! As it stands right now, we have only 18 pre-orders remain to hit Quill publishing, with 39 days left in the campaign.

With time winding down, this is when I need everyone the most. You see, just hitting 250 is a remarkable achievement, but nobody wants to just make it across the finish-line. I’m looking to not only break 250, but to get as close to 300 as possible. So with that in mind, remember my referral program!

If you’ve already bought a copy of my book, get just 2 people to buy a copy and I’ll send you a free t-shirt!

So please, if you’re still on the fence, out there lurking and watching and waiting, please take that leap and grab a copy. Be a part of the adventure and enjoy the ride!

For anyone who wants a deeper cut into the world of The Knightmares, please visit the site at www.TheKnightmares.com!

Erica.Curran liked an update for Human Resources

A very good morning to all you lovely people (at least in my timezone).

A quick update on the progress of Human Resources — over the weekend I finished my submission and entered the novel in The Launchpad Manuscript competition! I have no doubt the competition will be fierce, but hopefully my next update on that matter will be to tell you I’m in the second round :)

The competition entry required fifty pages, all of my effort since my last update has been focussed on writing the complete synopsis (entry requirement) and polishing the first few chapters. As a result, it may not have looked like much was happening - but there have been many small changes made to the excerpts available on Inkshares as I worked to give everything a lustrous shine.

Now that is over, apart from catching up on sleep, I’m back to focussing on the main re-write. The synopsis-writing process for the competition helped me tighten up some aspects of the planned re-write, so I am excited to get back into it.

Now, before I sign off, another recommendation: Deus Hex Machina.
This one is already fully funded, but well worth pre-ordering. It is set in a remarkably well-realised future, where society has been transformed by upheaval and technological advancement. It is easy to become absorbed in both the physical and digital worlds of DHM, exploring their surprises with a sense of wonder. The characters launch us into an adventure where things are obviously not what they seem, and where the correct path forward is not clear. Amanda has created us a tale of mystery and adventure that is hard to put down — add this to your reading list and you won’t be disappointed.
