The cabbies skinless hands gripped the wheel. Bones, tendons and muscles leaving a trail of fluid on the wheel as it spun to pull the cab out. The driver looked backwards casually. “Rough day at work?”

Hi everyone! I’m interested in seeing if anyone is willing or has recommendations for illustrators or other artists that are willing to engage in commissioned work for art related to my book.

I have a lot of art friends myself, but I’m looking to branch out and collect a wide array of styles. Character Sketches, logos, neat settings, whatever strikes you, or the artists fancy.

Of course, I’m willing to commission the piece from you as well if we are a good match!

What’s this art for? Pretty much for website purposes. My current placeholder is atrocious and I’m looking to fix that. Drawing is not a skill that’s in my wheel house.

So reach out to me. Follow the project, send me a direct message on here or any other form of query and we’ll start talking.

~Rick.

Nobody can help you name things and places in your book except you. Sorry man, but that’s the ONE thing you gotta do yourself. It’s your job to fill in the blank page. We can offer tips and help on other things, but not that.

To the other question: Only put up one chapter here on this website. This is eventually your selling platform, and your book is what you are selling. Nobody is going to read 10 chapters of your book on here. You want 1 solid awesome, complete and finished chapter and a bunch of marketing material.
