1) I’ve read all of the posted chapters and I want to read more. $10-$20 is a lot for a book that I never intend to read. Otherwise, it’s on par for a bookstore book, and the gods know I spend enough on those books, some of which continue to collect dust on my bookshelf.

2) The preorder numbers are low. These are the books that would benefit more from my preorder. Books with high preorders will likely be published, and I can order them later. If, after a campaign is done, I am one of 245 preorders, I will take solace in giving my support to an author I admire. 

But, recommendations and comments are free, and I am happy to give those, after I’ve taken the time to do the required reading.
