Michael Valdez liked an update for Life happened

Hi everybody, I hope you are well!

I thought it would be nice with an update regarding my novel "Life Happened". I have learnt that writing a book is a long, challenging but fun process!

A while back I received valuable feedback from my developmental editor. According to her comments, I have rewritten parts of the book. Today I sent her the new version which means we are one step closer to publication! When the script is perfected, it will go through copyedit, proofread and cold read - which are performed by 3 different editors. When all the steps in the process are completed you will receive your copy! There is no release date yet, but probably after the summer.

Right now I am looking for someone that can design the book cover, so if you know anyone - please send them my way!

Love,

Caroline

How you doing, my fellow Strifers???

Chris and I are literally days away from completing our rewritten manuscript. To be totally honest I’m feeling al little emotional. Its like coming close to summer break and not knowing if you’ll see your same friends next year. These characters have been a part of Chris and I’s life for so long... Well... I can’t remember a time when they weren’t.

Chris shared something interesting with me this afternoon. He shot me this song and said it reminded him of Aurelius: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgFQ6WmxdMs

Michael Valdez liked an update for Finding the Princess

      Hey guys,

I haven’t updated in a while so here I am. I have been going through and planning out the chapters and scenes for this book so that I can try to make it longer during Camp NaNoWriMo but I realized that for the first book it moves a little quickly through the story of the sisters. So, instead of making this book longer I am writing a completely new book to be the first book of the series and it will now be four books instead of three. I probably won’t be uploading any of the new chapters here but if you would like to read any of the chapters from the new book during April you can follow the progress on my blog. I have a few short stories written right now and I have some of the old chapters posted so please check it out and let me know what you think.

      Thank you!

          Hello Friends

Quick update to let you know that I made a decision.

This is the direction I selected for the book’s cover. Thank you all for your input it truly helped me select the right cover and give feedback to the designer.

And the work continues. We are onto copyedits, and the second round of cover proposals based on my feedback will be sent to me in the coming weeks (I will share that with you as well.)

The folks at Inkshares, Girl Friday Productions and I, are working hard to make sure you get a great book this coming fall.

In the mean time go to Inkshares and check out the work of other authors. There are great books in there; some of them available for purchase and some of them in the process of funding.

Don’t forget that if you want to support LGBTQ aspiring authors you can join my Write Out Loud syndicate. For $10 or $20 a month you will get a great book and will support the community and its allies.

          Have a fantastic week.
