Kaytalin Platt liked an update for The Hunter Saga

Dear Adventurers,

It is amazing that my eyes still are open at 7pm. Last night I slept for 90 minutes in total. My syrian hamster, The Dark Lord Kieran was trying his best to escape his life-sentence to conquer the world. I had bought him a new climbing set, and his highness was very aptly using it to gnaw on the air holes of his plexiglass prison.

One look at him and you can see the evil in his eyes.

I cannot manage in my current droopy condition to create new content. However, I had some excellent advice from my dear friend, and I have edited all the chapters according... to... to... zzzzz.

Thank... you... all... Goo’nnight.

Kaytalin Platt liked an update for A Beast Requires

    It’s Friday!

Well, at least it’s been a week. At this very moment, 64 of you amazing backers have pre-ordered 86 copies of A Beast Requires! Yes, it gives me the grins. Well, I’ll be grinning once I have coffee, seeing as all my brain’s energy right now is focused on typing.

This week I have a couple of tidbits for you. Yesterday I uploaded a video talking about some of the world building in A Beast Requires. Now, being as I am on Team Fat Kid, all of my world building, whether it’s for a book or an RPG campaign stems from food. Yes, I actually do world build from my gut.

I’ve also uploaded an audio of me reading the Prologue. I’ll upload more chapters as the weeks go by, featuring some special guests so you’ll have a bit more variety than just my voice.

So watch them, share them, and laugh.

Thoster chuckled to himself as he slipped through the door and closed it quietly behind him, as to not wake the younger ones. His sister played the part of a nagging wife and mother much better than anyone he’d ever met. It was no wonder he had yet to find a lass worth courting. With Shaylee in his life, he’d have all he ever needed of shouting about his whereabouts.

Kaytalin Platt sent an update for The Living God

          Hey guys!

It has been a good week. We’ve kept a decent pace and are still bouncing back and forth between 5th and 6th in the contest. Also, we are only 141 orders away from making Quill! That is super exciting. I know that the contest is going to be tough to win, especially with whispers of some authors with well-established followings restarting their campaigns to enter the contest. There are over 150 entries in the contest right now, from what I read in an article about the contest, and we are on the leaderboard! That is something to really be proud of.

I have to be honest. When I heard about established authors jumping into the fray, it filled me with some trepidation and made me a bit disheartened. It made me realize that there are two and a half months left in the contest and at any moment the book could get knocked off the leaderboard. However, I’ll keep plugging away. I won’t stop working towards the goal of Top 3!

One of the other projects I’ve been working on for the last two weeks is a website for The Living God. You can find it here. There, you can read more about the book and find character bios. I’m going to start work on character illustrations very soon!

Also, the fourth chapter is posted! If you haven’t checked out the other ones, please do.

          Chapter 1
          Chapter 2
          Chapter 3
          Chapter 4

Again, thank you for your support, guys. It means a lot to me. Please recommend the book on Inkshares and your social media sites. Help me spread the word. Help me make this a success. To those who have already worked so hard to help me get this far, thank you so much.
