Chris Robinson liked an update for Ageless

I just realized...

ONE MONTH from today is the publication day for Ageless!

So I thought I would point out this review of #AgelessbyPaulInman was left on the Goodreads page a few days ago. Thought you might want to know what someone thinks...full disclosure: I don’t know this person, but I’m glad she enjoyed the book! I’ve added the link at the bottom, but read it below if you prefer.

"And the crowd goes wild! Ageless is an Inkshares production, meaning that hundreds of people voted this book into existence. And with good reason, the hook is irresistible to we ephemeral folk who shuffle off our mortal coil. (Or should I go with ’out, out brief candle,’ even Shakespeare knew mortality was a dead end.)

Aless been on the run for her whole life, living in the shadows, from the day she was liberated from an underground lab. The Nazis had her, the CIA wants her. Ageless careens from decade to decade, and characters grow old and die while Aless is forced to hide her secret from everyone. Will she ever be able to stop running?

Filled with surprises of the ’wow’ sort, there’s even a little romance. (There’s also a scene in a lab the squeamish may want to skim. Fair warning.) This crowdfunded debut book, and winner of the Sword & Laser Collection Contest, is a fresh take on a ageless theme.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review."

Don’t forget, the LAUNCH PARTY! I hope to see your beautiful faces there!

Chris Robinson liked an update for Not Afraid of the Fall

    Dear friend,

It’s with heavy heart and quill in hand, I write to the thee with both sorrow and pity for those that have not yet have preordered Not Afraid of the Fall. But hope remains that we, the allegiance that is the Not Afraid of the Fall-ers, can still help find these poor souls and arm them with the trying tales of a young lad and his damsel in a dress from Zara.

No but seriously guys..we are less than one month away from the fundraising deadline.

I know we can still make this book a reality and reach our goal; however, 300 minds are better than one! If you have ANY advice on how to reach this goal, from connections/ places to promote, to people that might be interested, I would love to hear from you!

If nothing else, PLEASE share this story with your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and anyone else you think might enjoy a good ol’ fashioned read.

Be sure to let people know that if they create an Inkshares account, they will receive an email claiming "You’ve Got Credits!". By claiming these credits through the email, they can order Not Afraid of the Fall for just $5!

*You have this E-mail as well, save your friend some time and do it for them ;)*

If each person gets just ONE friend to preorder the book...we will be right there at the finish line!

Chris Robinson liked an update for Ghosts of War

      Hi everyone,

Firstly, apologies for the long time between updates, I’d lost track of how long it had been.

Unfortunately, things have been slow to non-existent for the last month or so when it comes to progress. It’s disappointing, for me and for you guys too, but I’ve been getting over some exhaustion issues and writing has often been the furthest thing from my mind.

That said, it’s April, and Camp NaNoWriMo has just opened up, and I’m forcing myself to participate. So I’ve spent the last week or so getting myself reacquainted with the story and the outlines for the unwritten parts (have I mentioned I really like my ending?...because I do) and I will be forging ahead to get this first draft knocked out.

I’ve also got an extended chunk of Ghosts in the hands of a few readers, so over the next month or so I should be getting some feedback that I can use to start shaping the next drafts.

Updates should be a little more regular while NaNo is going on, so keep an eye out for them.

      Until next time.

              Hello, Friends!

A glorious day is upon us, and by glorious day I mean the day I received the first set of cover design proposals.

This is super exciting and, of course, I want your help deciding which direction I should go. Take into consideration that these are design directions, not final designs. The final cover will look quite different from any of these, but before we get there we need to figure out what route we are taking.

Various and Sundry Updates - TWO WEEKS until LAUNCH Edition

Have you packed your bags for : AMOD Launch Party - Athens,GA - 4/5 - AVID BOOKSHOP? I’ll be the one dressed like this:

And yes, that is a Honey Badger shirt I’m wearing underneath to stealth-rep my Hufflepuff pride. I want to see ALL of you there - and it would be ever so  nice if you would follow the link above and let the bookshop know you were planning on attending so they can adjust accordingly.

Backers are starting to message me that they LIKE THE BOOK. So very nice to hear, please keep that coming - but don’t be afraid to give it to me straight if there’s something you have beef with. You are the core demographic - you put your money and faith on the line, so I at the very least owe you a straight answer if something is stinky-cheese in the novel.  -- Even if that answer will all too often be ’because I WANT there to be a JOKE THERE lololol’.

Actually, maybe you should avoid talking to me.

But! Thank you so much those of you that are already reading! And please please please - have your reviews ready for launch day. It is important. Plenty more haranguing to come on this topic, so I’ll leave it there for now.

Also! - many of you have been so gracious to recommend the book to friends, families, nerds du jour - but have asked me if it is necessary or recommended to read my other books first. I’ve broached this before, but it bears repeating: Nope. AMOD is the first Avengers film - you don’t REALLY need to watch Iron Man 2 or the Thor movie to understand what’s going on and have a good time. Read AMOD first - or my other stuff first! Or in any order you choose.  Characters, world, and some oh so enticing MEGA SECRET META-PLOT stuff persist - but each book, and AMOD in particular are designed to be enjoyed a la carte.

And now another great picture of me - to honor your support and sear your ocular nerve.
