J. F. Cicci sent an update for Truffle's Winter Adventure

Greetings, all!

I finally submitted the final draft of my latest book, The Insider Chipmunk Threat, to my publisher. I'm so happy to finally redirect my focus back to my little Truffle story. The first draft of Truffle's Winter Adventure, the follow-up to Truffle's Sad Song, is complete. After speaking with teachers and parents, I finally have a good idea where I want to take the story and how I want it to end - I always love speaking with teachers as far as what they would like to see in a children's book.

Truffle's Sad Song was a wonderful introduction to my main characters, Punch and Truffle, and now with Truffle's Winter Adventure, I felt that natural flow of the plot would be for Punch to take Truffle on his first real adventure. Truffle is thrilled but can't go unless he asks his mom first. Unfortunately, his mother tells him that he can go with the condition that he takes his baby pika cousin, Blue, with him. Truffle is devastated especially when Blue is cute, adorable, and good at everything. And so begins the unforeseen circumstances that plague Truffle's first adventure...How will Truffle cope with his baby cousin tagging along? We shall soon see.

Thank you so much for following me. I hope to keep everyone posted as things progress and am always open to constructive feedback and comments.

Kindest Regards,

~ J. F. Cicci
