I am WELL overdue for an update but we’re getting into the stretch again where THINGS are HAPPENING causing me to occasionally type in ALL CAPS.

First of all the Audible book, narrated by the talented Kevin T. Collins is up! And the Amazon listing is out too!

Best of all we got a nice writeup in Publisher’s Weekly. At least everyone tells me it’s nice. I, as the writer of the book just keep giggling at the phrase "appropriately convoluted."

Also "The story will suit readers who enjoy seasoning their planetary romps with a dash of cynicism. " Heh!

Pilot X also got prime placement at the top of the Kirkus Reviews epic list of 225 speculative fiction books to look for in 2017. Thanks John!

All in all things are going swimmingly and I can’t wait for all of you to be able to read the whole story and find out what Pilot/Instructor/Ambassador/Secretary/Citizen X is all about. And why just calling him X is kind of insulting.

We’ll let you know if we have any more cool news as we get closer to the March release date.

Thanks again SO MUCH for making this possible. Y’all rock.
Tom

I have a few, but for some reason this section always makes me proud:

Post-boxes, which should have been filled with cavity-inducing cards and well-wishes, were hushed amongst pamphlets alerting all of Argent to her disappearance. Where there should have been glittering, colorful, posters proclaiming good tidings across the city’s walls, there were dreadful black posters that bore the last photograph ever taken of her. Hundreds of pairs of eyes wandered over hers. They hesitated, as though needing a moment to collect themselves, and upon glossing over the information dotting shops decorated with wreaths, lights, spiralling ribbons, and plump bows that tied themselves, every witch and wizard dusted off their hands, lowered their heads, and silently thought to themselves – ‘What a crying shame.’ Then, they continued about their holiday business, pondering over many life-altering decisions such as whether cranberry sauce was really all that better than cranberry jelly.

First off, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who’s supported me so far! Got a long way to go, but I’m still surprised I got even one order to be honest. Second, wrote a new beginning this morning and posted it for everyone to read. Would love your feedback! Third, I just found out that Inkshares gives you credits when someone you refer buys a book. Which means if you talk your friends into buying mine, you get free books out of the deal. Just saying ;)
