Good afternoon, Sailors!

I know, I know... I haven’t said much since the contest ended. It honestly took me a solid week for the good news to settle in, and after that, November just sort of got away from me. But I’m here and I wanted to send out a quick update before the holiday weekend!

I don’t have much in the way of a timeline for you all, but! I can tell you that I’ve been working on my manuscript, getting everything where I want it so I can put my best foot forward when I send it off to the editors. Once I know more, I’ll definitely pass along any news.

I’m going to be making trips to the mail to get out the giveaway prizes soon. I’m hoping to have that sorted in the next week or so. Prints will be going out to a good chunk of you, and of course my lovely dice giveaway winners! I didn’t intend for it to become more of an early Christmas gift, but hey... maybe I’ll put a bow on the treasure chests for good measure. Just to get into the spirit.

Mostly, I just wanted to reach out to you guys and let you know that I’m still here and I’m still working. I’m going to be celebrating Thanksgiving with  my family tomorrow, and I hope you all know that what I’m most thankful for this year is all of you. You helped make my biggest dream come true. You all mean the world to me.

Good afternoon, Sailors!

Well... we did it! It feels surreal right now, but it’s official! Storm Song is listed as the #2 finish of the Geek & Sundry fantasy contest.y The last 3 ’months have been incredibly intense and stressful, but so so so worth it. 

I’ll be keeping you guys updated on what’s what as this progresses. 

Thank you again. I’ll update again when I can be more coherent and not just a bundle of overwhelming emotions
