Feeling very Lumbergh this morning, appropriately while sipping my morning coffee. Officially past the halfway mark, but there's still a long way to go in a short time. The good news is that Inkshares has pushed the deadline to December 27th. 40 days, 124 books to go. Wish me luck!

To my fellow Inkshares authors: If you have any marketing tips and suggestions for me, I'm all ears. I've bothered all friends & family, online contacts and so on, and littered my surrounding neighborhoods with paper flyers. I haven't been able to find any author/publishing conferences around, and all the local comic cons have come and gone.

I would like to give a nice shout-out to the staff at Comics-N-Stuff at the Chula Vista mall and Mysterious Galaxy independent book store in San Diego, who not only let me post a flyer but were also super interested in the book!

Feel free to message me HERE. Thanks guys! :)

Kelsey Rae Barthel liked an update for Storm of Fury

      Acoyltes,

I apologize for the multitude of updates recently, but this is an exciting time! I am indebted to John a Robin, the author of the really, really awesome book called Blood Dawn, because he has truly pulled out all the stops to advertise and support Storm of Fury.

This week, we breached 100 copies sold! Only a mere 143 to go to get into Quill publishing! (I say mere, but it's still going to be a hefty fight.)

I can't do this without the support of patrons like you, so please help Storm of Fury reach the bookshelves. Try and get just one person to get my book, -just one!- and we'll get well over 200!

Thanks for your support so far; we're going to make it!

This wasn’t Brae’s first time stealing. Quite the opposite. Her mother called her a born thief.

Born into a rogue clan of thieves, she had learned from the time she was very young. Her father had encouraged this talent with praise and training. Her mother encouraged it with cold critiques and high expectations.

She enjoyed stealing. She enjoyed the planning, the perfect execution, and the adrenaline rush. She . . .
