Yes, I’m still alive (though you wouldn’t know it from my lack posts recently) and working hard on finishing up the novel so that it can be submitted for final edits. It’s a long process, and time-consuming, so I haven’t had many opportunities to post here. 

Looking ahead, I’ll be doing some update work to the main page for "CotF" - which includes adding additional artwork, along with updated versions of the entire first act of the novel (15 chapters, fully edited and finalized). This should serve as a healthy preview of the final book, giving readers an entire arc to work their way through as the novel prepares for wide-distribution. 

I’m also scheduling my first con appearances, so be on the lookout for videos and promotional-material I’ll be posting in the upcoming weeks. That’s pretty much it for now - I’m hoping to have the updated samples and everything else up by the end of next week, though things can always change.

I do have one treat for everyone, although it’s still only a WIP, I think the quality (by the lovely Ellie Yong) speaks for itself. Taken from Fionna Cohmwell’s encounter with the Spirit of the Forest, from about half-way through the book.
