Top of the something, Space Crew!
I have emerged from the confines of the writer’s cave to give you all a well-deserved update.
Turns out the manuscript, and my mental health, needed more reworking than expected. I am declaring it now, and please don’t scream at me: I am a month behind!
(best if you imagine me shouting it like this)
So March is wrapping up, and so is this story, finally! At last! The end is on the horizon. I expect that in one week I’ll be finished writing and onto editing.
Here’s the updated total timeline:
To compensate for my lateness, I’ve made sure to boost the quality of this thing, so I’m expecting editing to take half what I had planned (about two weeks). This means that if you think about it, I’m only a couple weeks behind.
Beta readers wanted! The next phase requires a couple of people to read this thing for early feedback. I have some folks in mind, and I have specific requirements, but if you’re interested, hit me up on Twitter (@acbaldwin) or by email at acbaldwinbooks@gmail.com. No promises, but if I need you I will call on you.
So that about sums up the remaining work. I’m really excited about this story after a lot of progress has been made, and I can’t wait to make it a reality.
Your Silly Space Captain who forgot their drawing tablet today,
-AC

Hey everyone! I have news! Important News!
Every year, debut books and new books that JUST came out are eligible for awards! One of them, is easy to vote for, and has a huge impact!

If you think that the Seventh Age: Dawn is your favorite Apocalyptic Novel of the year, let the Dragon people know! There are a ton of categories so you can nominate your favorite stuff all over the spectrum.
Click Here - to nominate things. You can fill out the entire thing, or only one, and even come back later and add stuff. It’s free. There are a ton of great writers and books to nominate, and it’s one of the bigger Sci-Fi Fantasy awards so even a nomination really matters!
Thank you so much for your time!
Yes, I’ve been quiet for a while. Didn’t feel like blowing you guys up with the same old "stuff is happening, *clickety clack*" even though I’ve been diligently at work.
I was awaiting the final round of feedback, and it was monstrously wonderful. Michael Haase provided it. He’s the author of The Madenss of Mr. Butler and all around swell dude. Having incorporated many of his fine suggestions I can say ...
Bombs away!

That is: I’ve submitted the manuscript to Inkshares!

What does this mean? It means that I cannot tinker and putter any longer. It means that however long it takes Inkshares to copyedit it, for me to approve the changes, and then for them to send it to press is how long you’ll wait to have it in your hands. It means that it’s finally happening. This book that seemed like it might never exist is coming. It’s real. It’s happening.
And it feels wonderful.
Thanks to all of you for all you’ve done for me. I’m grateful.
Hey everyone! It’s been a moment hasn’t it!? Well... I’ve got my Emerald City Comic Con brief notes ready to go!
We hit Seattle and got to the Comic Con!

Then Zac and I set up shop!

There was a significant amount of food and drinks in between with Andy Ainsworth (These Old Bones) and then our Seattle family went and explored neat stuff.

The con was a success! Not only did we have a fantastic time, we also sold out.
So, now I get ready for the next set of conventions: COD Con (In April) and ACEN (In May). If you are reading this and in Chicagoland area for these cons, let me know.
As always, we are still questing for reviews on Amazon (Click Here) and Goodreads (Click Here) and Audible (Click Here). Please please please leave a review after you finish. It’s how little books get wings and go off to be bigger books.
Finally. I took an online personality quiz and found out I’m a metal bender.
Hell fucking yes.
LOOK OUT AGAIN!!!
Dear Readers of "Nowhere Else I Want to Be: A Memoir":
Greetings Destiny supporters,
The first draft of Destiny Imperfect is complete, and I’m leaving it to stew in its natural juices for a while! In a few weeks’ time, it should’ve marinated sufficiently for me to begin to blend it into shape and bring the final product closer to fruition. If you have yet to pre-order a copy, you can do so here!
In the meantime, Destiny’s stable mate, Sync City, is available to order right now! If you’re into a post-apocalyptic action-filled adventure of man and machine, then Sync City is the story for you. If you are unfamiliar with Jack and his adventures, check out the story at my website: www.synccityjack.com. If this piques your interest, then Sync City is available in all its gory glory from the places mentioned below.
The paperback version is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Book Depository. The ebook Kindle version is available for those in the US from Amazon. For non-Kindle people and those outside the US, the best place to head for the ebook is Kobo. You can also order Sync City, in paperback or ebook format, via the good people at Inkshares right here!
Don’t forget to share and enjoy your day!
Cheers,
Peter
Hey folks, now you all were in on this well before, but the official launch date of Pilot X is tomorrow, March 14.
First of all THANK YOU. Without your support this books wouldn’t be raining down across bookstores, Kindles and Audible accounts. Y’all ROCK!
Second of all, one of those weird quirks of the industry is that it runs on reviews. Amazon reviews in particular. So if I can be pushy just this once, I want to ask you one more thing
WRITE AN AMAZON REVIEW PLEASE?
It’s easy. Just go here: http://amzn.to/2mksOTR And scroll down to the part that says write a customer review. That’s it!
It’s way more helpful than you think to do that and costs you just a few minutes.
Oh and thanks to everybody who’s been sharing pictures of the book in book stores on Twitter and Facebook! Keep ’em coming.
And THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart for making Pilot X a reality.
