Two big notes this week.
1. Journey received a nice write up in The Portsmouth Review
(Click Here)2. I have an author appearance at Barnes & Noble in Burlington, Massachusetts tomorrow [Saturday March 12] from noon to 3 PM. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area.
I need 100 reviews on Amazon.com. Making slow progress toward that goal. Help!
Just takes a couple minutes to click on the Stars and say a few words such as "Best book ever!" or "Totally boring!"
(Click Here for Journey’s Amazon page)Amazon promotes books that receive a decent amount of good reviews. Those reviews are the Key to a new author getting noticed. I can’t emphasize enough how important this is.
Have a great weekend!
Instead of self-publishing, why don’t you continue with Inkshares and do it the the way the rest of us do - keep plugging and get 750 pre-orders?
Publishing with Inkshares gives you many advantages over self-pub.
Editing, marketing, a sales team and access to lots of bookstores, a great royalty program, etc.
I am in the process of booking a Barnes & Noble tour for my Inkshares book - that is something I would have near zero chance of doing with a self-published book.
I’m an unknown writer with an unknown book from a small town in New Hampshire.
I didn’t win any contests and don’t have a large social-media following. So if I can do this, you can too!
Another way you could keep an involvement with Inkshares is to submit to The Inkshares Authors Anthology. This project stands a 98% chance of reaching the 750 pre-order level and I would love to see you be part of that!
