Hi,

You’re right that the "About" section contains some spoilers! I am brand new to Inkshares, so I was following the example of what I saw on a few other writers’ pages. I wonder if I should add a "Spoiler Alert" disclaimer to the top...!

Thank you so much for your kind words about the unique voices of the narrator and each of the characters. I appreciate that observation very much. One of my favorite things to write is actually dialog, so it means a lot to hear I have succeeded in my execution so far! Actually, in my earliest drafts of this manuscript, some of the feedback I received from readers and writing instructors was that it was a bit dialog-heavy and didn’t include enough narration or description, and that maybe I should consider just writing a screenplay instead of a novel.

Yes, too of Marshall’s interests are cooking/food and reading/books (actual, real, tangible books--with pages and covers).

I am interested to see what you think about the catalyst that will propel Penelope to either enroll or stick to her guns, when we get to that part. Writing instructors, readers, and even an editor at a small press have had varying perspectives on it.

Thanks again for your insights and comments!

@Larry Morton Your question regarding Bea and Penelope is a good one. If you keep reading, let me know if it’s answered or not!
