Shawn Furniss sent an update for Battle Flag: The Road To Hell

Well 2 weeks to go with 12 orders total.

Barring some downright miraculous surge in orders it looks like this book isn’t going to happen, at least not right now.

Am I going to ask for an extension? Probably not.

Am I going to give up? No.

If this fails I’m going to let it sit in draft phase for a bit and shift my focus over to my other book The Agoge. I’m also going to rearrange the Battle Flag project front page to be a little clearer on the overall goals for the series and I’ll rearrange the sample chapters too.

Here’s hoping for a miracle!

Shawn Furniss recommended Manifesto: A Tale of Murder
The first chapter, that I read, rolled out like the opening of the film Office Space but mixed with a bit of American Psycho.
    Manifesto: A Tale of Murder
An aging cop must journey inside the fractured mind of a killer in order to find a missing girl and put an end to a growing body count. No one is safe and things may not be as they appear in this dark tale of murder, mystery, and betrayal.

Wow, I can actually relate to this, more than I care to admit, and it kind of hit me like a jolt.

Shawn Furniss highlighted an excerpt from Manifesto: A Tale of Murder
Is this all there is to life? I thought as I gazed into the mirror. My hand instinctively went to the .38 snub-nose I keep in my center console. Just place the barrel in your mouth, pull trigger, and this will all be over. The thought came as a whisper often heard from some third party stowed away in the deepest recesses of my mind.
