Just another update to say that progress has been slowly, but surely, moving forward. Also since it seems to be popular recently; here’s a character bio.
Name: Arata Naiga A.K.A. Hardline.
Age: 32 years
Gender: Male
Born the only child of a traveling Japanese salesman, Arata fell in love with sport from an early age. After leading his university track team to victory he became a moderately successful professional athlete. He made a decent living, but never attained the wealth and fame that he sought for.
After wasting his money on pointless scheme after scheme he was forced to look for bigger sources of income to maintain his expensive lifestyle. He turned to drugs to enhance his athletic abilities, allowing him to reach the elite of his profession. A group know as Speed supplied him with a prototype super steroid which he hoped would allow him to achieve his goals, but unbeknownst to the group the regulators were developing a prototype indicator that they hoped could reveal the new subtler steroids of the modern age.
When the two substances were combined in his body they reacted in a way no one could have seen coming. Arata was granted superhuman speed and the ability to solidify the winds he left in his wake. Thanks to this reaction revealing his cheating ways he was forced to turn to a life of crime to gain the infamy he desired instead of his former career. Leaving Japan to start his criminal career under the name of Hardline he struck out in search of his fortunes.
