Thanks for reaching out. The Tide of Madness is most definitely still active! You are absolutely right though – I haven’t sent out an update in far too long. I’ll fix that at some point this week.
In short - Life kind of got out of hand (including two job changes) and the time to rework the manuscript has been harder to find than I would have liked (and my chaotic approach to novel writing didn’t do me any favors). That being said, the core of the novel is done and, barring some re-writes, I’m very happy with the quality of it overall. I feel like it’s going to be a bigger and better story than book 1.
London, 1858. The polluted air is filled with both smog and noise, but underneath the industrial surface lies a coven of witches, a string of mysterious murders, forbidden romance, and a child who has been touched by an ancient evil.
This is a collection of journal entries and short stories detailing the strange events in the small town of Walker Creek. The journal entries are those of Kyle Deller, a journalism school drop-out who is obsessed with the town and it’s secrets.
Something sinister has always crept within the darkness of Westminster Falls, leaving a trail of children in it’s wake. So the town tried to bury it, pretend it never existed. Now it is back and a garage band and an alcoholic sheriff must end it.
