I just wanted to say a quick hello and thank you to all of you for following Rule Britannia this week, and a special thank you to those who have added a comment or a review!

I have a follow-back policy, I’m working my way through checking out each of your projects (if you have them) and following them.

What’s next?

This weekend I’ve given myself a long list of to-dos which includes working on a cover for the book, making some tweaks to the first chapter based on feedback I’ve received, and setting up a Facebook page.  I’ll share the link to the Facebook page once its up, and I’ll be using that to share extra info about the world of Rule Britannia, and of course, the characters.

Thanks again for your support in these early days, it means the world to me!

Good Day Readers!

I apologize for not having any new updates for THE LOVE FOOL yet. I’m waiting patiently for release date information – but knowing that the final outcome will be great, I rest easily awaiting news.

In the meantime, I wanted to let you know about new projects I’m working on to keep my mind busy and not harping on the anticipation. Ha!!

As many of you know, this writing thing is still new to me. But, I find it to be a fun side project to my otherwise boring life. I can live through these made up characters and made up situations. With that said, these past months, I’ve completed a short story; which I’ve submitted to a few places and, again, waiting to hear back. And recently, I’ve been pushing forward with a new story that I hope to stretch out to another book. But, we’ll see. My challenge is to write a whole different type of story. THE LOVE FOOL can be considered a “romantic comedy” and it was fun writing it. But this new story will be nothing like it. To give you a little clue: I’m diving into a darker place in society. That’s all I can feel comfortable telling you right now.

Quick but exciting update:

Devil’s Call went to the copy editor (the lovely Jessica Gardner) this morning, a mere two months later than we originally thought it would, and the word on the street is I should have her comments in a week or so, assuming there isn’t something terribly wrong lurking in the manuscript somewhere.

The next step after copy editing is proofreading. I will update y’all when that happens.

In the meantime, those of you who have attempted to place orders and been unable to, the site recently went through an overhaul and the order page is functional again.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me and this project for as long as you have. A year ago, this thing was 75 pages long and begging for an overhaul. As of this morning, it’s around 200 pages and actually, you know. Looks like a novel. If it weren’t for all of your support, that wouldn’t have happened.
