Gaslamp Fantasy is also pretty close. In my universe Magic and Technology affect each others evolution heavily so both genres apply but then neither apply.
Any technology which would work here will work there, but because of the presence of Magic chances are no one spent the time and effort it took to invent the incandescent light bulb, not when EVERY mage can cast light, etc.
Flight doesn't exist in the traditional sense, Dragons own the skies, mankind need not apply. Lots of Magitek applications for rocketry though since the ancient Chinese had basic rocket tech.
There’s a reanimated mummy on the loose in wild west Jersey. Who’s going to stop him? Does he need to be stopped? And who’s the girl in the t-shirt in the middle of winter? It’s a book about legends, science, heroism, and squirrels.
This is the best description of what I envision Home-World to be that ive seen yet. It even mentions having railroads powered by mythical creatures.
