Eric Landreneau liked an update for The Talkers are Talking
Hello lovely readers!!

Exciting news! Our syndicate (Break the Bechdel with Strong Female Characters found here: https://www.inkshares.com/syndicates/break-the-bechdel-with-strong-female-characters ) just surpassed the CEO Syndicate in highest number of members! We are (at least for the moment) the largest Syndicate on Inkshares! So lucky to have found such amazing people who are intelligent, respectful and passionate about increasing the number of strong/fully-realized female characters in this world. If you haven’t joined yet, please check it out. The discussions alone are worth it =)

More updates to come soon...including the rough artwork of the new cover for The Talkers are Talking.

Thanks, as always, for your support.

Eric Landreneau recommended Through The Ghost
Solid, clear writing and an opening that jumps you right into the character and the action. Inkshares could use more MilSciFi.
    Through The Ghost
Now available on Kindle and Amazon. TTG is an operatic space adventure with conflicted characters and dangerous consequences.

    Last week I fought dragons.

And we will always fight them. It doesn’t matter how well you plan, or how much you;ve organized yourself, a dragon will always rise. The dragon might be a massive creature, casting a shadow that devours all light. The dragons might be tiny, fearsome beasts, nipping and snarling as they clutter around your path. There will always be dragons, and we will always fight them.

Last week I fought dragons. I knew they were coming; that their approach was only a matter of time. I felt them out there, looming where the light ends. I know my dragons well, after all, that’s a big reason why I write humor. For now the dragons are gone, and though I am a little wearier, I will continue to push forward. A Beast Requires lives, and so do I.

      Hey there, readers!

My TimeHop app on my phone just informed me that today marks two anniversaries...

      1) Today is one year to the day since I joined Inkshares and started my book campaign.
      2) 26 years since the classic Disney cartoon TaleSpin premiered in 1990.

Anyone around my age probably has the theme song stuck in their head now. You’re welcome. (If not, here you go)

They really just don’t make them like they used to. Seriously though, bush pilots and air pirates in 1930s-40s style serial adventures? This is the kind of stuff that fuels me. Granted, Dax takes place in the far future, but the spirit is the same.

Speaking of which, I hope you all are enjoying the early ebook! I am both excited and terrified to hear your reviews. :) In the meantime, I’m continuing to occupy myself with a few things on my to-do list.

      1) A proper book trailer
      2) Scraping together all my notes and carving out an outline for Dax 2. Ooooh I want to talk about it so bad but I don’t want to spoil anything!

I’ve also updated the synopsis on the book project page to better reflect what I think might be the back cover copy. Again, I’ll keep you all posted on the publishing date.

      Until next time!
